Visited Chloe's tonite and was greeted by an excellent waiter by the name of Jon. He MADE our evening wonderful. The food came out steaming hot and delicious. We ate outside with s beautiful view of Fort Myers Beach. I highly recommend this restaurant. Paul V.

My sister and her husband came in for a few days and we wanted to take them somewhere nice. We needed a place that was gluten free because of her celiac disease. Chloes has a huge ( supposedly) gluten free menu. After eating a pretty expensive meal, not even 15 min ftom leaving, my sister became violently ill. We called, not asking f or anything but to report the incident. The gentleman who called back just wouldn't take any responsibility whatsoever. We just didn't want this to happen to anyone else. Celiac is a very serious disorder and any cross contamination is serious. Be weary of eating here.

Hands down the best place in Fort Myers beach when it comes to atmosphere! We spent the whole day next to the pool at the Cabanas beach bar. The service was impeccable, friendly, and timely. Our servers Danny and Vicky did such an awesome job! The manager Marcel Chartier was very professional and friendly. He made as feel like home and even gave us a promotion on the drinks. If you are looking for great atmosphere with an awesome staff, this place is a must!

Never again! Unfortunately, I chose this place for our family Christmas dinner. Advertisement for it promoted as a delicious buffet that includes pictures with Santa....sounds like a great option for a family with small kids. Got my toddler and infant dressed up cute, three year old very excited that Santa was going to be at his dinner...and nope! We arrive only to realize that the meal is not in the actual Chloe's restaurant that I saw pictures of when deciding where to eat for our holiday meal but set up banquet style in a large, bland banquet room next to the resturant. Food was definitely subpar, not one thing on the buffet did I finish eating. I am somewhat of a food snob, so I wrote the bad food off as just not for me. If other issues hadn't occurred, I would have given it a two just because it is not up to my personal standards. If you like typical buffets with cafeteria type foods, this will most likely not disappoint you. Regardless of your preferences, it is in no way a $30 per person meal. BUT the main reason I will never recommend or return to this restaurant is that they falsely advertised the enhancement of having photos with Santa to entice families to attend this "spacial Christmas buffet." After 90 minutes of dining, we have taken just about as much time as we possibly could waiting around with a 3 year old and an 11 month old. So I asked several waiters when was Santa coming in here? They all gave me "oh shit" looks and told me they would go find out. I finally got an answer that he is no longer here. WHAT? But your ad says from 12:30-5:30 the special Christmas buffet with Santa pictures. At no point did it advertise that Santa would only be around for those who reserved dining at specific times. So I ask to speak with a Manager. Finally Johnny, the manager comes to me and looks puzzled at my complaint. My first question to him is what time did Santa leave. He replies with oh sorry but he left between 4 and 4:30. Well at that time he had no idea that I had been there since 3:30. So I know now he is lying. I also happened to hear a lady ask the hostess when Santa was returning from his dinner break (that is what they told her when she asked where Santa was 30 minutes prior). After 10 minutes of him trying to convince me that the ad doesn't say Santa was here the entire time, I ask again what time Santa left and he then said 3. WTF, you first told be 4-4:30 when you thought I had just arrived at 5. Now I became pissed because he told me he was so busy there is no way to keep an eye on what tables Santa came to before he left. Not to mention he walked away from me for a few minutes and my father who was in the hall heard him get on his work phone and tell "frank to find a Santa suit." He comes back and asks what I would like for him to do about me misunderstanding the promotion of Santa. He finally agreed to adjust my bill after 10 additional minutes of excuses, but so far our credit card has no credits to it. We shall see if that word is any better than the ad. Our group spent almost $200 on a meal that all 5 adults agreed to be one of the worst each have ever had. But mostly importantly I lost all respect for this establishment. ****If you are reading this Chloe's- Be honest in your advertisements. If you can't get people to come because you have good food, then shut the doors, don't be deceptive to get people to come. And when a customer catches you in a shameful lie, don't argue with them.

Food here was okay. Nothing to die over. Took a while for them to seat us the two times recently that we have came to here here. You just have to stand around like an idiot hoping someone comes over saying "has anyone helped you yet? Let me get you seated" .. The bread they serve before you eat is actually delicious... Made with some coconut... they serve it with a pepper jelly.... It's not that yummy. Garlic, oils and herbs would have sufficed but they don't offer that. We had the corner seating of the store located by the two window and was able to catch the remainder of some sunset before it was gone. Our waitress was a doll, Absolutely sweet, knowledgeable and Relaxed... Nothing more Annoying then a rushy pushy server. Would I go here again... Uhm. No. And the reason for that is one it's pretty $$ even with the coupons they provide when you stay at the Diamond head hotel (which this was all at the end of August 2014) and two, well they don't really have food that fancies me. I'm not saying don't go here, Please do check it out maybe you'll love it.

We went there for a friends birthday party. There were 7 in our party. We had drinks for about 45 minutes enjoying the Gulf view. The chocolate martinis were delicious and pretty to look at. Our server was Samantha who was a doll. She was on point for the entire meal. The bread was served and was outstanding. I had lobster and spinach bisque. It was one of the best I have had with plenty of lobster. My wife and I both had the salmon and we were both pleased. All the other guests were happy with their meals. The restaurant bought a piece of chocolate cake for the birthday girl. I was surprised the place had so few diners. I guess a Tuesday night off season was the reason. The prices were a little high but not crazy considering the Gulf views.

This review is for the Christmas buffet. The staff gets four stars for the great service. The food was about 2.5 stars. The staff here are very kind and accommodating. I called Christmas Eve for the Christmas buffet and they found space for me in spite of being booked up. (There was still a long line when I left at 5:15 and they were supposed to be done seating at 5. In spite of the big crowds and nonstop work all day, every one of the staff members was kind and accommodating and went above and beyond to help people and make people's Christmas dinner great. Also the setting is very pretty, nice patio area overlooking the beach. the price was very reasonable. Honestly I would have paid a little more for better food. Some of the food was great: prime rib was cooked to perfection and yummy horseradish sauce. The fresh peel and eat shrimp were great ( but scoring them to make them a bit easier to peel would have been nice) Desserts were good though limited in selection. most of the food was just OK. The cheese and cracker selection was thrown together grocery store quality (ritz crackers and yellow cheddar) the salmon was over cooked and pretty tasteless, the lobster bisque didn't taste like lobster or anything much. The stuffing tasted like stovetop. The rolls were hard and tasteless. For such a nice staff and setting, this place could definitely be great with more attention to the food. Overall I enjoyed the meal. I wouldn't go again though.

3 stars for the food... Wow, off season timing is bad! Sunday night, relatively early dinner and Chloe's doesn't open til 5. Waited around in the lobby area for half an hour, because the restaurant wasn't even set up for any customers, let alone workers. When we finally got in, my party was the only party, and the staff took our name and how many, as if the place were packed with reservations. We asked if there was outside seating, and were told no, because they don't sit patrons on the beach during off season - too risky with the weather (never know when a storm will roll through). Okay, can we have a table near a window? Sure - because no one was there and they didn't foresee a huge rush at 5pm. We should be lucky! Had an Entertainment book coupon for buy one get one, up to $24. Also had two different Foursquare users with a first time check in, to get a free dessert. Well, The server didn't know about the check in, so he asked his manager. He comes back and says it's either the Entertainment coupon or the Foursquare check in. Can't use both. We opted for the book, as it was a better deal. - Keep this in mind if you plan on using social media with other coupons... you can not use all... Choose your discount wisely - With an order of water, a coconut pineapple bread with shell shaped butter and a spicy jam served, we decided what to order. Salad and soup is a la carte - $3 more to plate. Macadamia En Crusted Grouper pan seared delicately spiced Florida grouper drizzled with an orange ginger sauce and Island Grilled Mahi Mahi marinated in our chili citrus teriyaki sauce and topped with pineapple salsa The Grouper: great size fish, served with steam vegetables and mashed potatoes. Only problem with the dish was the mashed potatoes seemed instant. I joked that you can tell when something is instant or frozen when: you get it scooped on your plate via an ice cream scoop. Honest - the mash potato was scooped on the plate. Mahi Mahi - again, good size serving. Steamed veg and rice with it. Like the potato, it was scooped in the plate and tasted not so fresh. Problem with the marinate on the fish: it was over marinated with teriyaki sauce. It was literally all you tasted, but there was a point in the fish where you could taste the chili citrus on it. But over all, it was too teriyaki'd. In conclusion, the meal was okay. Am I in a rush to go back? Well, time can tell on this one. Had they said they'd use both deals or allowed us the opportunity to not have to sit in a lobby by ourselves, it'd be a different story. Suggestion: Don't trust the current hours listed or the social media marketing. It's a crap shoot to get in and use a discount, but the view of the beach is worth it.

Here during the off season. Almost no one waiting tables. Placed our order and 30 minutes later still no food, drinks, or water to drink. Left. Nice view though.

Party of 10. Terrible food and service wasn't much better. Atmosphere definitely did not match the prices either. 4 of us ordered grouper, which was extremely "fishy" tasting. Not worth the price. Don't make the attempt w/ this place...after a weeks stay on the beach we tried numerous places with a range of atmosphere/price and every other place was far better.

We decided to give this place another try. We were last here about a year ago. We ate outside overlooking the pool and Fort Myers Beach. Nice view & it was warm. The wine list sadly remains PATHETIC, so we opted for Amstel Lights to accompany our meal. Nice & refreshing. For dinner we had the Tortuga Snapper, which comes with mushrooms, scallions, lobster and a sauce Béarnaise. The snapper was overcooked & I couldn't taste any lobster, although it may have been there. It came with a baked potato that I took home for another day. My wife had the Seafood Sicily, which consisted of Clams & Bay Scallops simmered in a wine sauce over nicely al dente pasta. Most of the pasta came home for another day. This place caters to the short term beach tourist and seems to do a good job of it. Food - 2 1/2 STARS Service - 4 STARS Location - 4 STARS Ambiance - 3 1/2 STARS

This place is probably closer to 3 and a half stars. Many of the reviews on here, I'm not sure where they ate, because they were written with enough heart to make me want to skip on Chloe's, but my experience was not the nightmare they described. Great views of the water and the food is pretty good. I think you have to come here with the $50 Restaurant.com certificate that has the ability to cut your bill in half; because this place is overpriced. We ordered an appetizer, salmon, blackened shrimp, grouper and a few drinks, and the overall experience was not the $120 experience that was on the bill, but it was good. The service was attentive. The decor is dated. Preys on their peak-season hotel crowd, and not return business from regulars.

Had a below average meal, 2 star at the best. Had the grouper entree and there was more breading on the grouper and no taste. The rice was tasteless and the steamed vegetables were average. I would not recommend this restaurant and would not return. The atmosphere was average, the service was good but the prices were extremely high for the quality of food.

We had a 6:30 PM reservation and we're immediately seated. The place was not busy but we didn't get our food for over an hour. We had a small child with us and he was frustrated. I was given the smallest piece of fish I have ever been served in over 9 years of living in Fort Myers. It was not even served hot. The other 5 meals at our table were average at best. With the unbelievable selection of great restaurants in the area, I doubt we will ever go back there.

We went to Chloe's for the 2nd time this year for Dinner with my parents. We had a Restuarant.com coupon which is why we chose to go here. The food was very good. Service was fine. There was no problem using our Restuarant.com coupon. As a matter of fact, we were a few dollars short on the purchase amount required and the waitress let us know that before bringing out bill and suggested we order a dessert to take home to make it up to the correct purchase amount. The actual decore is unimpressive and the place is actually rather small, but it's worth a visit.

The plus side: Service is very good. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. Sunday brunch is just OK, far from great. The omelet station has 4 or 5 ingredients, the pancakes were chewy, the meats were very very salty. I am surprised people think the Sunday brunch is special. It caters to the unhealthy. Dinner : Sit on the patio overlooking the gulf if possible. It's quite serene. So try the Macadamian crusted grouper - very tasty. Crab stuffed flounder - great as well but skip the cheddar rice it comes with unless you like rice-r -roni. Pineapple bread was very tasty. Caesar salad was not. So, we realized there is no really "great food" at Fort Myers beach but if you like eating relatively healthy, come here for the fish and veggies. Everywhere is seems to be all about fried everything. Nothing wrong with a little of that but for several days at every meal, it's not happening. helpful hints: Getting a bowl of fresh fruit is almost impossible at certain hours from Chloe's so hit up the market and leave it in your suite. Coffee to go in the a.m. - not free but free refills til 11 a.m. for those who like caffeine before lazy beach days packing water sports, bacardi punches and bloody marys.

Not Worth Your Frozen $ We made a reservation for 8. We were surprised that it wasn't a large restaurant or full of patrons at 7pm on a Saturday. It is a restaurant in a hotel/meeting room. Had the prime rib with no pre-seasoning. The sauce & horseradish was canned. The vegetables were frozen & steamed. The crab cake appetizer was frozen & microwaved. I don't mind paying a lot for dinner but I expect it to be fresh & cooked on the spot. This restaurant offers frozen food that is cooked in a microwave & presented on a plate. No taste. Not sure why others say the food is good unless they don't know what fresh food tastes like. They shouldn't be allowed to charge the prices they do with the food they serve.

We were there for thanks giving dinner and we did enjoy our first time at this place. we were a little disappointed that they only serve buffet on that day because few ppl in our group are not into the traditional turkey and ham dinner. I still had a great because the food and the service were really good. Juicy turkey with flavorful gravy made my night!!! It would have been better if they have more choice of food for the buffet cuz there were only 2-3main entrees available. will go back and try their regular menu sometime!!!

Friendly service, but the food comes up short. Great pepper jelly served with okay bread. Good salads. Disappointing seafood entrees. We had the grouper and it came with a gross (looking and tasting) purple sauce, crab-stuffed flounder (meh, okay), and the mushroom-lobster snapper (yuck!). The rice on the side was inedible - we all skipped it. At $25 an entree we hoped for better. Dull hotel atmosphere. Had a restaurant.com coupon. I wouldn't return, though my parents probably would.

My husband and I after a much thought out plan decided to go to Chloes for our 16th Anniversary after checking out waterfront restaurants in both Ft. Myers and Naples. We were both extremely satisfied with our decision. I am a part-time Florida resident with my primary resident in New York City and dine out quite frequently and had high expectations for both a romantic and wonderful evening. Our waitress Dianne had both poise and grace and made our evening memorable along with the delicious meal we enjoyed. There is not one negative I can say about Chloes. I recommend dining at Chloes for your next memorable dining experience.

The food here is ok. The staff is very very friendly and attentive. I love the service. The prices are a bit high and the atmosphere is lacking for a nice restaurant. It reminds me of a coffee shop actually. Good for breakfast but not really that nice for dinner. I did love their jam for the bread. It had a nice little kick to it.

I was served a ribeye steak that smelled spoiled. I sent it back and it was replaced with a new one. Although this one was ok, it tasted like very low quality meat. There were only a hand full of people in the restaurant. The prices are top rate, but the quality of food isn't.
